Nebula TV is a media player for Samsung TVs. It plays an IPTV playlist that you provide (M3U or Xtream Codes). Nebula TV does not supply any TV channels, movies, or other content - you bring your own playlist from your own provider.

What we collect and why

TV device identifier (Samsung DUID) - a per-TV hardware id, used to run your 7-day free trial and enforce your subscription per TV.
Email address - only if you start a subscription or link an additional TV. Used to manage your subscription and send the device-link confirmation email.
Subscription status and plan - received from our payment provider.
Diagnostic / crash reports - if the app hits an error it may send the error message, app version, the screen you were on, your device id, and basic TV model info. The app automatically removes any playlist addresses, usernames, and passwords before sending. Kept about 30 days.

What we do NOT collect

Your playlist credentials and what you watch. Your provider address, username, password, and viewing activity stay on your TV and are sent only to your IPTV provider so it can stream to you. We do not receive, store, or log them.
Exception - the optional "Add from Phone" QR setup passes your playlist details through our pairing relay over an encrypted connection, held at most 5 minutes, delivered once to your TV, then immediately deleted; never logged or retained.
Payment card details - handled entirely by our payment provider; we never see or store them.
No advertising, no third-party trackers/analytics, and we do not sell your data.

Service providers

Cloudflare - hosting and database.
Lemon Squeezy - our Merchant of Record; processes all payments and billing under its own privacy policy.
Resend - sends the "link this TV" emails.

Data retention

Account and subscription records: while your subscription is active and as needed for our records and legal/tax obligations.
Crash/diagnostic reports: about 30 days, then deleted automatically.
"Add from Phone" pairing data: minutes (see above).

Your choices and rights

Remove a TV yourself any time: on the TV, Settings → Your TVs → Remove.
Access, correct, or delete your data, or close your account: contact us at the email above. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under laws such as the GDPR or CCPA.
Diagnostics can be turned off in the app where that option is available.

Security

Data is transmitted over encrypted connections (HTTPS). Crash reports are scrubbed of credentials on your device before they are sent. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we take reasonable measures to protect your information.

Children

Nebula TV is not directed to children and we do not knowingly collect data from children.

International users

Our providers (including Cloudflare) operate globally, so your data may be processed in countries other than your own.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy. We will post the new version here and update the date above.
